There comes a time in everyone’s life, when hiding in the back row, head slunk down avoiding eye contact so as not to arouse notice from the front of the room, is just not going to cut it and you come to the realization, that your number is up and it is time to step up and take your turn.
Will you be ready?
You know you have something worthwhile to offer. You know that the stars are aligned to favour you with success. You know that if you don’t take that leap of faith, you could miss an important window of opportunity.
Are you scared?
Sure, you have doubts. You wouldn’t be human if you didn’t. Sure, you don’t have all the information – but you have enough.
So you put your hand up. You invite attention on yourself and everyone turns around, casts their eyes on you, and waits.
This is it.
This is the moment to shine. The instant that everything could changes for you. When you declare yourself as someone knowledgeable in the matter at hand.
You jumped.
Like any leap, for a few moments there is nothing but air. Do you wave your hands, flapping like a baby bird’s first attempt at flight? Or do you stretch your arms out, locked in place at your sides and soar?
It is in this moment that you can make a real shift in your life. When you can let your confidence show.
You know this. You got this.
You know that what you have to contribute has merit. You know that by stepping up, your unique offerings can make a difference.
Make no mistake, this is your time to shine.
But the spotlight does not come from an outside energy source. The light is radiating from inside of you, fueled by your personal, unique insights. The knowledge inside you has the potential to illuminate the issues at hand and create a beacon for everyone.
In this moment you are a warrior of truth, you are the queen of your life, all because you brought forth your personal power. Drawing it up from the base of you toes where it rose up through your body gathering up all your knowledge, all your creativity, all your faith and all your truths so it could be offered up as a solution to the situation.
You stepped up.
You took the leap.
And because you did, you soared.
Intimate phase “stepping up”!

I love your message. It took me a long time to realize the leap is much less scary than my mind makes it out to be. As my yoga instructor said one day, “Leap, and the net appears.”
