The 3×3 Project – The Final Week

If you are just discovering the 3 x3 Project. Go to the category at the side bar marked 3×3 Project and follow my journey from the beginning.

What is the 3 x 3 Project?

My online friend, Slade Roberson wrote a interesting post on his site, Shift Your Spirits entitled Change Your Life In 3 Months .

The formula is simple:

Perform 3 action each week that move you closer to your goal.

Do it for 3 months.

Set down the framework for each month and then focus on the weekly actions. This is a bite size action plan that can work on any goal you want to achieve. Think big but act small.

This is my experience with the concept.

The Final Results Of The 3×3 Project- What I learned and Achieved

12 weeks ago, I started this experiment with a simple goal, to increase my readership and get more views for this blog. An easy enough task but in the end, what I gained, was so much more than soaring stats.

Was I successful? Absolutely. My views increased 5 times over what I started with in March. Did I increase my subscription rate? Yes again, by 20%, and I am very happy with these numbers and will strive to continue this trend.

But what I am really gushing over is the unexpected, internal transformation that has left me in a position that, as little as 6 months ago, I would never have imagined to find myself in.

Here are those life changing results:

Focus

As soon as I put my intention out there and made it public, the panic started. Oh God, now I have to step up and actually do this! If I was to not fail in epic fashion, I was going to have to buckle down and focus.

This has been the keystone to this whole project and I can not stress this enough. You can have good intentions, you can have all sorts of stellar ideas, but until you laser focus in on what it is that you want to achieve, it will all remain ethereal and out of your grasp. Focusing forced me to make a plan. Focusing gave me the blueprint in which to work by.

Clarity

Once I applied my focus on just one area, and in this case it was my blog, more questions enviably popped into my head. That is where clarity came into play.

I had spent energy focusing in on the goal, but how did I want to actually make it happen. This is where the rubber hit the road and I quickly learned that the more clear I was ahead of time on my weekly actions, the quicker I would see results towards my goal.

Being clear means understanding not only what you want, but why, when, how and even who. As in who are you going to seek out for additional help.

You need focus and clarity to formulate any plan. Focusing brings into view the what, clarity clears the way to make it happen.

Confidence

Once I had the focus and clarity it became apparent that my old blog name was no longer serving my intentions. Originally my blog was called, “Crone’s Apprentice”. But over time, and with experience, I had become empowered and soon realized that I was no longer an apprentice. I had over 3 years of writing experience and 220 blogs in my archives. I had moved pass the student phase.

By going through the motions of focusing, and becoming clear on this project, I came to understand the confidence I actually already had regarding my blog topic area and so my blog became, “Crone Confidence”.

But that is just one aspect of the confidence story. Because, as we all know, success breeds confidence and as positive feedback came into my blog, so did my courage, determination and my certainty that what I was doing was the right path for me.

Flow

We have all experienced, at one time or another, how when you are in your element, everything in life tends to flow effortlessly and so by taking control of this one area of my life and declaring it out into the world, other opportunities began to opened up to me.

Those of you who understand the law of attraction will see this for what it is. When you send an intention out into the universe, the universe responds by placing signs and synchronistic events in your line of site. Your only job is to see them for what they are and take advantage of them. When you do, you will find that even more opportunities appear.

The Teacher Appears

When the student is ready, the teacher appears.

I have always believed this theory and the 3×3 Project once again confirmed the concept for me. This is really another aspect of flow.

One of the ways the universe helped me realise my goal is through the kindness of strangers. I can not tell you how helpful the amazing folks that I have met on social media have been. By having the confidence to ask the questions that confounded me as I put my blog out there, I was humbled by the openness and freely given advise people all over the world offered to me.

The never before offered classes, that timely became available through my local Parks and Rec put me face to face in touch with even more information that again, I had never before been able to access before. In the case of these classes, a teacher literally appeared.

And then there is my online friend Slade Roberson https://sladeroberson.com/ , who came up with the 3×3 concept and put it out there on is blog in the first place. Not only did he encourage me to try his idea out, but he was gracious enough to share it on his Shift Your Spirit podcast by interviewing me.  The 3×3 Project – The Podcast

Thank you Slade.

The lesson here that changed my life is profound gratitude. I was never alone in this. A helping hand is always available if you ask.

The Realisation Of An Even Bigger Dream

And finally, the biggest achievement the 3×3 Project created for me my the long held goal of becoming a Life Coach.

This was a dream that I have held for over a decade and I finally put it into motion last summer but through a series of circumstances, I was unable to make it happen until this April.

What I know with out a shred of doubt, is that if I had not taken the time to focus, achieve clarity, boost my confidence and allow the flow of synchronicity, I would not have gotten what I did out of the Life Coaching accreditation. Sure I would have gotten my certificate and the goal would have been realised but I am pretty much sure that I would not have been in a courageous place to do anything with it, like I am now.

What’s Next

In 3 months, my life has changed in ways I could never have dreamed of just 12 weeks ago. So much so that I preach this concept to who ever is willing to listen. I will continue to use the 3×3 Project concept in my life for any future goals I decide I want to achieve.

Right now I am steering my energies towards starting up, and building a personal life coaching practise. I have called it, “Crone Confidence Clarity Coaching“. Because I know that clarity is the way to mine and others success. I believe this so fully that I feel like the ambassador of this concept.

As for my blog, I will take all that I have learned over the last 3 months and continue to chug along, writing, posting and sharing my knowledge and wisdom with the hope and desire to empower others to achieve their own goals. Feel free to contact me and share your dreams. Who knows, I may become the teacher that you are looking for.

The Challenge Is Now Yours

If you have a goal that seems daunting. If you are like I was, waiting for someday to appear but felt deep in your soul that it never will, then I encourage you to try this simple 3×3 concept. For 3 months do 3 small actions every week towards your goal.

Will you be successful? Will you achieve your dream? That I can not say, but I will guarantee, that if focus in on those 3 actions a week for the 3 months, you will change your life. And that is what the experiment was really intended to do.

Thank you to everyone who helped me out, and followed along with me through this experiment. Your support meant the world to me. Please comment and help me continue the conversation.
