I’m all Ones and Fives

 

I am sensing that a change is coming in my life. Like something different and unknown is just around the corner and I have no power to stop it even if I wanted to. Not like a runaway freight train kind of change. Barreling down the track at breakneck speed with catastrophic impact eminent. More like a seed pushing through the crack of a cement sidewalk kind of change. Slowly, determined, with a will to live where ever it may have been planted.

I feel it in my gut. It’s an edginess, not quite frustration but something vaguely uncomfortable. Have you ever felt this way?

So in my search to figure this feeling out, I have been analyzing the different aspects of energy that are about to come into my life. Humanity has developed over the millenniums different forms of divination to make sense of our lives. We humans have always attempted to understand and predict our future in an attempt to control it. I am no different.

One of the divination tools I explored was numerology. This week I will celebrate my birthday so I wanted to see what number, and the energy aspect of that number, would effect my upcoming year. This year my personal number is 5.

To figure out your personal year number add your birthdate plus this year (2018) together until you get a prime number. My birthday is August, 31st. So that is: 8+31+2018= 2057 – then 2+0+5+7= 14 – then 1+4= 5

* A note here. 2018 adds up to 11 which is a prime number in numerology so you do not reduce it down further to 1+1 = 2 . It stays as 11. But in my case the prime number is the same – 5. (8+31+11=50 – 5+0=5)

If you are involved in the media or any way, or have always wanted to be, you’ll feel extra blessed this year. If you want to grow your business, any type of advertising would prove worthwhile. Make sure that with all of these changes and new feelings that you don’t scatter your energies.

Listen to your heart to discern what is most important and make your decisions based on your intuitive guidance. You might make mistakes, but that is how you learn, and those lessons will serve you and help you to instruct others in the future.

So there is a reason I am sensing this feeling that change is coming. At least numerically.

I might add that I will be 55 this year as well. More 5’s. But if you reduce down 55, you get the number – 1 (5+5=10 – then 1+0= 1) This is another aspect of numerology and that is your age digit.  This number creates another layer to predicting your year ahead. If you have a 1 Personal Year as well, this can be a very difficult time requiring every bit of drive and courage you can muster up.

I will admit that I am not a numerology expert so there may be factors that I am missing but what I am is highly intuitive and, as a Virgo, highly analytical. I like to gather information from various sources before I do what my intuition has already told me to do in the first place.

Will I ever learn to just listen to my intuition and bypass the rest? It’s not how I am wired but I have at least learned not to fight it.

The divination tool that I do know rather well is tarot. In tarot, the #1 card is the magician and the #5 card is the hierophant. The magician represents possibilities and the ability to harness ones own personal elemental power. The hierophant is the teacher but also represents the resources of higher learning. These energies parallel pretty nicely with the aspects of the #1 and #5 of numerology for my year ahead.

I believe that human beings always have free will. We have the ability to make choices for ourselves. But with those choices also comes consequences. There are immutable universal laws meant to create order for all of which we are powerless to change. I also believe that the universe is always offering us guidance so that we do not have to travel our life’s path totally blind.

Over time, humans have created system such as numerology, tarot, astrology, and a whole host of others to interpret the messages of nature and the universe so that we can make sense of our own little worlds. I for one, have no problem using all the help I can get.

In the end, it is my intuition that offers me the best advice. It is my truest compass and will always point the right way. I may be all ones and fives this year, which are bonus influences meant to give me some confidence, support and perhaps a little luck. Aspects I don’t intend to ignore. But it is the feelings in my gut and the whispers from my soul and the passionate emotions that will propel me forward and get me where I am meant to go in the year ahead.
